Students will learn to identify and understand the essential components of a well-crafted resume. Students will understand the importance of highlighting achievements and quantifiable impact in each resume section. Students will develop skills in customizing resumes for specific job descriptions. Students will learn formatting best practices, including font choice, bullet points, and layout. Students will understand the importance of incorporating relevant keywords for applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Hajj Haidar Mazen is an academic educator, translator, and language consultant. He holds a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in English with double minors in history and Arabic from the University of Texas at Arlington. Haidar has been immersed in education since 2008, working in various capacities as a tutor, teacher, and administrator. He currently teaches advanced English, AP Seminar, and AP Research at an early college high school in Arlington, TX. Additionally, Haidar serves as the principal of Imam Ali Islamic School, focusing on the instruction of The Holy Quran, Islamic Studies, and the Arabic language.
