Students will explore the Islamic philosophy of marriage, including key values and principles that shape a healthy partnership. The course also covers effective communication, conflict resolution techniques, understanding marital rights and responsibilities, and practical tips for day-to-day life. These tools are meant to equip individuals with both knowledge and skills for a balanced, respectful, and loving marriage.

This session is ideal for couples—whether navigating challenges or simply seeking to grow together—as well as for singles who want to understand what marriage truly entails. If you’re preparing for marriage, seeking a faith-centered framework, or just looking to deepen your understanding of Islamic relationships, this class offers something meaningful for you.

Shaykh Mohammed Al-Saadi was born and raised in the United States and is a graduate of the Islamic seminary (ḥawzah) in Najaf, Iraq. He has a bachelor’s degree in communications with a double emphasis in Electronic Media and Speech from the University of Michigan where he also minored in Philosophy and completed his pre-Medical requirements. 

Shaykh Mohammed Al-Saadi is the founder of Shield Families, a non-profit that aims to “revive the village” by connecting and equipping like-minded believers with the tools needed to raise devout and resilient families living in the west. 

He also serves as the Dean of Mission at Wisdom Academy, an Islamic Montessori school based in Dallas, TX where he and his family now reside.
