About the Sisters Circle
Sisters Circle is a biweekly support group for Shia Muslim young women ages 18+ that provides a safe, faith-based space to connect, reflect, and grow together. The group encourages open dialogue around personal, social, and spiritual challenges while fostering sisterhood, self-development, and empowerment through shared experiences. Each session centers on meaningful discussions, journaling, and interactive activities that connect Islamic teachings, especially from the lives of Ahlul Bayt (a), to everyday life. Guided by empathy and mutual support, Sisters Circle helps participants strengthen their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being while building a strong community rooted in faith and purpose.
About Our January Event
Join us for our monthly informal discussion featuring a guest speaker and a topic that bridges faith with real-world understanding. This month, we welcome Nourelhouda Jouni, MA, LLPC, who will lead a grounding conversation on Islamic Approaches to Managing Anxiety, Stress, and Burnout. The discussion will explore how faith-centered therapeutic tools can help navigate emotional overwhelm, cultivate balance, and strengthen both mental and spiritual well-being.
