This course will help students strengthen their foundation in faith by addressing the essential theological questions every Muslim should be able to answer. It will give them clarity on what they believe, why they believe it, and how to explain it in both simple and intellectual terms. Students will develop greater confidence when it comes to articulating their Islamic worldview in academic, social, or interfaith settings.
Students will learn the central doctrines of Islam including Tawhid (the Oneness of God), divine justice, prophethood, Imamate, and the Hereafter. The class will highlight the rational proofs for belief, the role of revelation, and how these concepts tie into daily life. They will also explore the differences between Islamic theology and other worldviews, equipping them to defend their beliefs with knowledge and reason.
This course is ideal for anyone seeking to strengthen their faith, whether they are students beginning their religious journey or community members wanting to deepen their intellectual understanding. It is also well-suited for youth preparing for college or adults engaging in interfaith dialogue who want to be confident in representing Islamic beliefs.
