The Arbaeen is a commemoration of 40 days of mourning after the Day of Ashura. During this time, millions walk to the Shrine of Imam Hussain (a) in Karbala, Iraq. The IIA and Mainstay hold this program, October 27-28 at 7pm, with the objective to educate and spread awareness about this feat, through an exhibition featuring a photo gallery, a documentary, and Mawakib display (stations serving people food, beverages, desserts, etc). This program is part of the Foundation’s national initiative helping centers creatively spread awareness about the Arbaeen.
